2019 Contract Negotiations Recap

With Labor Day upon us marking the end of summer and one of the busiest negotiation time frames in 459's history, below is a recap of the recently completed negotiation sessions.
 
AMES -The members ratified a 3-year agreement on February 15, 2019 that included no change to health care benefits and significant wage increases.
 
NRG- (Seward station operation) - On May 22, 2019, the members ratified a 3-year agreement that included cost control for healthcare plans, revised sick leave/income protection policy and increase in wages over the term of the agreement.
 
LWC- (at Seward Station) - On June 27, 2019, the members ratified a new 5-year agreement with increases to wages each year of the agreement.
 
Village of Westfield, New York - The members ratified a 2-year contract extension agreement on July 15, 2019 that includes wage increase each year and commitment of a joint labor and management committee.
 
CAMS- (Keystone/Conemaugh stations) - On July 29, 2019 members ratified a 5-year agreement that includes a revised sick leave/income protection policy, cost control for healthcare plans and wage increase each year for the term of the agreement.
 
GenOn- (Shawville station) - On August 29, 2019 members accepted a 5-year agreement that includes a revised sick leave/income protection policy, cost control for healthcare plans and increase in wages over the term of the agreement.
 
SOLLCO- (Seward Operating, LLC) - A new agreement has been ratified by the members at SOLLCO on August 27, 2019. The 5-year agreement includes no change to healthcare benefits and wage increase each year of the agreement.
